Hi Jim,

Not a real expert here, but I think you might try (with the text selected) to go to the 'Text' menu--> 'Text and Font.' You then get a text format editor... with the various justifications (on the right in my version), select the center option...

I didn't expect to have to do the justification before putting on the path. I thought I could just select it on the path and then justify it somehow.
