There is no straight-forward function for it (to my knoledge), but you might try using some alchemy with the path-menu: you'd to find the exact right solution for yourself, but there are commands like 'cut' and 'devide' that devide areas based on where they intersect. But, you'd have to create a bit of an area to the lines.
