Hi Phil

You should be able to change the size of the page with the document properties dialog (Ctrl+Shift+D).

Once you have resized the page, you might need to resize the imported graphic using the transform tool (F1) to match your expectations for mm to m.

When I use the Visualise->Measure Path Extension it does actually give
me correct results so I a assuming that the drawing is still correctly
1:500 . .
