[Inkscape-user] troubles with printing

Hello everybody,

I'm using Inkscape (0.43) on Gentoo (2005.1) and experiencing follwing troubles with printing:

a) can't get any print dialog (it does direct printig instead); b) does not print text (everything elese is printed well).

I'm using CUPS for printing.

This behaviour is independent of the desktop environment I use (KDE, Gnome or Enlightenment-0.17).

Does anybody have an idea why does that happen and how to fix that?

Any help would be very appreciated.
