Ok, Just wanted to thank everyone for the guidence. When piping to kprinter I get the kprinter screen now. I noticed in the upper right corner there was an option called properties. slecting it gave another page, I never noticed the little arrow before. when it is selected the poster option appears. when selected you can set the page size you are using and the poster size to use. Here is the great thing. It keeps all my line thicknesses the same. It is great! I do inlay work in wood and I needed the stroke style width to always stay the thickness of my blades regardless of scale, that's where vector graphics works for me. The one thing I haven't figured out is how to set the stroke style thickness so I don't have to re click it for every line I draw. Also it only holds two digits in the inch mode, I would really like to be able to get .015 instead of .02 but I figure it will come if it is possible.
anyway thanks again
