Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try it out. Also I noticed that the calligraphy tool shape can be modified beyond the default look. Excellent drawings - you are a very good artist.

I usually do it manually, of course it would be handy to have a shortcut, but is not terribly difficult this way:

Draw the shape (outline) with the calligraphy tool. Duplicate and fill with the desired color. Delete some nodes to eliminate the interior "hole". Move the "fill" shape below the outline.
