Hi list,
Does anybody knows what is occouring with the OpenClipart.org website ?
There was a security flaw in the PHP which required the site to be taken down. When they have a chance to fix the issues the site will come back up I hope.
Actually, I think at this point the issues have been worked out; now its just the grunt labor of moving things back into place, but afaik everyone that usually does this stuff is tied up with other projects. I think kees is ready to do a re-review of the security once someone's hooked it up, so I think this is something anyone with regular unix/web skills (and an fdo account) could tackle.
Yes, this is totally the case. I have been tied up with Creative Commons work and teaching...if anyone else has more time, please step up to the plate. Otherwise, it seems the OCAL process is somewhat on hold.
Jon
