Hello Albert,

Based upon what you've requested and what the image is, you might want to check out Blender: https://www.blender.org/

Things like lighting, texture (aka "cloth") rendering, and other sorts of rendering are par for the course for blender, and it's open source and has a fairly large and active community.

Typically Inkscape is used more for vector graphics like logos or drawings that don't require 3d rendering, _per se_, but more for 2d with trappings of 3d.

To get a result like what you want with inkscape would probably take as much time as to learn blender and get something more useful and more flexible (i.e. literal three dimensional object which you can move the camera around, etc.)

I don't have any experience with blender, but if I wanted to make a 3d image on my own I'd probably start there.

I think, specifically, what you're probably looking for is something like an "electron microscope" effect.

Hope that helps!

Hello

Thanks a lot for the comments.

I am trying to render some biological pictures with this fancy effect. However, I don't know where can I find
some tutorial to do this. If possible, could you please give me some advice?

For instance, how can we make such kind of texture which looks like a cloth? Is there also any advance tutorial
showing how to render object with different lighting effect?

Thanks a lot

Albert

Yes. It would take quite a bit of work though. :) also, due to the details,
what you have may be much smaller than the svg file size required to
duplicate it. What are you trying to do?

Hello guys,

I am just wondering can we make a figure like the attached one in Inkscape?

Thank you very much.
