Hi all, I have been trying to get in touch with somebody who can tell me what I need to do to get permission to sell my art work that was created with Inkscape and some with other programs as well. I would like to post them on RedBubble for sale. Could someone please let me know what I need to do.
As long as the artwork is your own, Inkscape's license shouldn't affect whether or not you're able to sell it for profit and you shouldn't need any special permission there.
Where you might be in a bit of a pickle is if you use software like the Adobe Suite under a Student or Educational license, in which case you're not authorized by Adobe to use the software for commercial work. If you have a full / standard license though, it's not an issue for that software either.
In summary, if you're using all free & open source software there, you should be fine and not need any extra permission. If you're using proprietary software, make sure you're using editions that allow for commercial usage.
