One of the people that compile GTK+ and Inkscape on OS X without X11 need, could add a HOWTO on the wiki?
That would make it easier for mac users to help out, and also note what else can be done user-wise to make the native build advance more quickly.
actually I was saying that there were very few of us compiling Inkscape on OS X even _with X11_ so there are even less without X11 ;-) I know of two actually and will try to contact them. The wiki page definitely needs some updating, even for the classic "with X11" way. Watch for updates in the next few days and come back asking if nothing has happened. http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/CompilingMacOsX
