I wanted to chime in. For some reason I can get any of the other save as options to work when I started downloading the nightly builds over the last few weeks. If I go back to the 45 stuff it works ok. I am just trying to learn this a little at a time, I would love to get at least the PDF saving working. The program does read PDF files well as long as they were created with the Adobe PDF Driver. If I use PrimoPDF then Inkscape has a problem with the font names for some reason.
Any suggestions or ideas on what might be wrong with what I have is appreciated.
Sincerely,

I'm trying to convert svg to pdf. "inkscape
-A stack.pdf stack.svg"
works, but the resulting image has a lot of empty
space. I tried adding
-D but that gives me "WARNING **: No export
filename given and no
filename hint. Nothing exported."
Any help? FWIW I was able to use -D successfully in
the past when
converting svg to png files....
Thanks,
Yang
