- then, I also noticed that not all my available fonts show up in the
text properties dialog, e.g. I downloaded today a free font called "Aardvark Cafe", it shows up correctly in Gimp.app, but it's not shown in the Inkscape font list.
I've also seen this problem with some fonts on OSX. I usually use Inkscape on Linux where the same font works.
