Hello,

It could be that the dialog is opened outside the visible area of your screen (do you use multiple monitors?). If so: close Inkscape and open preferences.xml in a texteditor (it's in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Inkscape\). Search for "documentoptions". Just delete the whole <group ... /> that contains "documentoptions" and hopefully it will show up the next time you run Inkscape!

Im using Inkscape 0.44.1, built Sep 9, 2006 under windows xp.
When I try to access the document properties panel -> file -> document properties, the panel does not show up.
Is this happening with someone else?
