hello,<br><br>one of my great latest discoveries in inkscape is the Snapping tool (or settings).<br><br>however, i have a question about snapping a guide to an object/object&#39;s node - is it possible? according to the settings (Ctrl+Shift+D -&gt; Snap) it looks like it is, but whenever i drag a guide from the ruler part of the screen, no snapping happens. what am i doing wrong? or is it a bug?<br>
<br>also, my second point of interest is the node editing. one of the features i miss the most is the shortening of distance of two randomly selected nodes. in case you know Blender, after selecting vertices and pressing S to scale, their distance shortens/lengthens according to mouse movement. is there in inkscape any way of performing similar actions?<br>
