[Inkscape-user] Drawing display

Hello,

I’m running inkscape 0.91 with XQuartz 2.7.9 on mac OS X 10.11.4

I’m having a problem. When I create a new document, I select a shape like ellipse, I draw but nothing appears on the screen, the shape won’t draw. The outline is by default, black on white.

Can anyone tell me what’s going on ?
