[Inkscape-user] How to use Type 1 fonts in Inkscape?

Hello,

I am using Inkscape-0.47 on Zenwalk Snapshot which is a derivative of Slackware. I have installed Ghostscript Standard Type 1 fonts installed in /usr/share/fonts/Type1 directory. But these fonts are not visible in Inkscape. How to make them available in Inkscape?
