is it possible to use inkscape with a wacom tablet?
I've heard that on Linux if your wacom tablet is being recognized by Linux, it should work ok in the application. (I'd tried mine but Linux wasn't recognizing it so couldn't test it.)
Without doing anything so crass as checking my facts, I understand this:
Under linux: * There are drivers for X[0] which make the wacom look like a mouse. * Therefore, if you can make the pointer move by manipulating the wacom, you can use it. * But, you can't do pressure-sensitive stuff. * GIMP[1] has magic to do variable-pressure, but nobody else does yet.
