In Inkscape, if you select more then one object and do a rotation transform, it rotates both objects as if they were one. For instance, if you have a horizontal line of squares and rotate them 90 degrees clockwise through the transform dialogue, you get a verticle line of squares.
However, I want Inkscape to rotate some objects like it does with the "rotate 90 degrees" button. It is tiresome to select one object after another and rotate it 45 degrees or some other number that isn't a multiple of 90. Is there some way to do this without brute force? if not, I think it should definately go on the to-do list, considering that it's useful and Inkscape almost already does it.
