I'm pretty sure I'm running 0.44. The real problem is that the RPM I've uploaded on SourceForge exhibits the same behaviour, at least on my system, which obviously is not good. I'd like to know how it behaves on other's systems.

I'm building Inkscape SVN on SUSE 10.0 with GTK 2.8.6.
