The file dialog is actually the standard GNOME file dialog. I've
also
noticed that it's quite different from what I expect from a file
dialog.
How much would it suck to use the native windows dialog on windows?
I've actually grown quite fond of the GNOME file dialog. Since I do a bit of work in both Inkscape & GIMP, it's nice that my "bookmarked" folders are there for both. It may seem minor but it makes a big difference to me. Plus as the parent originally posted about networked drives no working, they fine work for me (at least with a build from yesterday).
