How do I add a color to the "Swatches" panel? I've tried dragging things in, right-clicking on all sorts of things, using the dropper, etc etc but it just doesn't want to happen!

Are the swatches just pre-set and unchangeable?

I do it the old fashioned way...by opening the palette-name.gpl file in a text editor and adding a few more colors then reloading Inkscape. You can find them in /palettes directory.

hahaha that's so "open source", if you know what i mean. there must be a GUI way... :)
