Hi list,
I would like to know if there is any restriction to publish some drawing from http://www.openclipart.org/ been part of a commercial document (like a book).
1-I know thar this subject is not about inkscape, but the drawing are all svg type. 2-I don't want to subscribe to another users list (I have more than 6 now)
I hope not bother you.
sincerely Ezequias

As http://openclipart.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?FAQ states,
"Q: What limitations are there in how I can use the clipart?
There are no limitations, you can do whatever you wish with it.
We select the Public Domain for the clipart in order to provide maximum flexibility and ease of use to the user. You can put the clipart into your own drawings without any affect on the copyright or license of your work. There are no requirements to include attribution of the clipartist. You can edit and modify the clipart as you wish and redistribute it under your own terms. "

I would go even further: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/publicdomain/
"the Work may be freely reproduced, distributed, transmitted, used, modified, built upon, or otherwise exploited by anyone for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial, and in any way, including by methods that have not yet been invented or conceived."
