Inkscape stuff imported into blender (images)

This first thing involves taking a square in Inkscape and then using some text and the boolean functions to "cut" the text out of the square, i.e. to create a text shaped hole.
This was then imported into Blender and a light with the halo option turned on was animated behind the object, pointed toward the camera.

This was done by using the gear script, then using various boolean operations to add the letters and the connections between the letters and the gears. The whole shebang was imported into Blender, the "gear train" was broken up into individual gears, extruded and animated (ambient occlusion used for the lighting.)
