is it possible to scale the position of multiple selected objects?
The goal is to bring a bunch of selected objects more closely together in the X axis only.
Thanks for any hints.
Albert
A two-step procedure is needed: - open the "Transform" Dialog (Shift + Ctrl + M) - select the objects - Scale the width (e.g. to 50%), whilst "Scale proportionally" and "Apply to each object separately" are deactivated - Scale the width (e.t. to 200%) whilst "Apply to each object separately" is activated
This results in moving the centres of the objects without deforming them.
Hope this helps, Peter -- Inkscape 0.48, Windows 7 Meier und Partner AG, Switzerland, www.meierpartner.ch
