Moving object to another layer?
How does one move an object to another layer? I tried the layer menu but it only seems to transfer you to another layer and not move the object in question. Is there something I'm missing?

In 0.41, only by Copy/Paste in place. In CVS there's a new command for that.
The easiest way in 0.41 is to cut, switch layer, and then paste in place (ctl+alt+v) this puts it back in the exact spot it was in before, on the currently selected layer. CVS has move to layer/above below commands, and hopefully a layers dialog is not a million miles away.
