Greets,
A friend and I were working in Inkscape, and due to the slowness of his computer, the going was, well, slow.
To counter this, we searched for a way to turn the anti-aliasing off, but could not find it anywhere.
Maybe there should be an option to? Some people might need the accuracy of sharp edges for editing sometimes.
Can anyone help? Thanks!

As a reference, here is a RFE for this option: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1034796&gro...
Oh good, I'll back that request.

Please note that the bottlenecks are currently in other code besides antialiasing; turning it off won't buy much performance.
