Hello Inkscapers,
We've put out another pre-release of Inkscape. As we're getting very close to releasing 0.46 on platforms other than Windows testing is critical. On Windows, there are some release blocking bugs that could use developer attention. If you're a Windows developer please come help. If not, but you know one, time to buy him/her their favorite pizza and beer then tie them to a chair :) [1]

I can test the pre-release on Mac OS X, but only if someone makes a PPC build for 10.4 Tiger

Do we have recent info on doing a cross-compile for Windows?
I'd like to give a hand, but for compiling I'd do better on OS X or Ubuntu.

Thanks for providing the md5sums. I've now downloaded this 8 times using Opera, Firefox and IE and got a different number everytime :) I even downloaded it directly to my host, checked the md5sum there then FTPed it to my PC and had it messed up again -argh!
Does anyone know of a trick to get this file accurately? My internet connection is obviously screwy.

Hey,
While trying to export to PDF-via-Cairo from "nkscape 0.45.1+0.46pre1+devel, built Feb 1 2008", the text ends up turned 180 degrees and in mirror-image, while the rest of the document is ok? (?!?)
Has anybody else encountered this behaviour?
Kind regards,
Maarten
PS. Johan and Aaron, thanks for your help on the batch scripts, I'm still trying... I'll report

Hey,
Thanks a lot for the clarification,... but I guess I wait until the next binary Windows-installer is available! :D
