Im using Evolution in a Debian Box in plain text mode. I usualy write whith the default "normal" mode that break links. I hope if I switch to "preformated" mode the links not broken anymore. It's also possible to submit the video/descriptions as a resource to inkscape.org, the video should embed if it's from vimeo or youtube. Enter the video url in the External URL field.
