Import of text in SVG in Scribus is really an issue unless converted to path. If it needs to be edited, you should use Scribus's features directly - if not convert to shape. Cedric

Creating "non-flowed" text that has been "Put on Path" still

detaches itself from the path when imported into Scribus. Converting the text to "regular (non flowed) text" by using the "Convert to text" command also does not fix the problem - the text is still detached on import.
