I suspect your PSV will accept or even prefer PostScript over PDF. This avoids the PS to PDF conversion that many UNIX print systems do to produce PDF output.

Actually, the "printer" is an online service that only accepts either CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or Freehand files, but I can at least ask them if they accept PDF as well (since Postscript or EPS doesn't support gradients, as someone wrote here on the list). A while ago, I already discovered a program at Sourceforge that converts files to PDF. I'm gonna check this out again!
