Where to put ICC color profiles.
I have icc profiles avialable in Scribus but not in inkscape 48.2. Where does inkscape look?
Slackware Linux.

There are several dynamic locations that are examined.
Bring up the Inkscape preferences dialog and find the "Color Management" pane.
Move your cursor over the "Display profile:" drop down and let it trigger the tooltip.
The tooltip should list all the currently searched directories. At the moment mine lists seven different ones.

Mine only lists two. Can this list be altered to point to system wide profiles?
Depends on the system, I guess.
Some are basted the the XDG directory specs, so tweaking those environment variables can get some runtime changes. For more than that, let us know which OS and which locations via what magic should be included.

For my Slackware 13.37 system it would be nice to have /usr/share/color/icc added in.
