Hello!
I'm new to incscape and vector graphics.
I created a bezir curve for a Text (looks like hand written with some extras on the start and end, and should look like made of yarn. Now the curve looks fine to me (even if it is very thin at the moment).
Now I would like to make it look like a real yarn, but with different colors. So I created a gradient for the colors I want to have. But when I use this, the text seems to be gradiented from left to right, but I would like to have it over my 'yarn'. So is it possible somehow to tell incscape to do Like my bezir curve is a yarn?
Do you know what I mean?
Thanks for your help. Martin

Have you tried using the "Repeat" drop down menu in the Fill and Stroke dialog box? If you use the 'reflected' option, I think you may get the effect you are looking for.
