Are there any plans to make a small navigation box like in Gimp, for Inkscape?
I also like how the one in Photoshop works.

Just wanted to add my vote - I would also like to see such a feature one day. The Gimp has the better solution in my opinion, it's quick and easy to access, but doesn't get in the way.

Folks, I suggest you to have a look at our feature tracker: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=93438&atid=604309 - if the feature proposal is already there, add your votes/comments; - if is not there, add a new feature request.
This is the best way to ensure it will not be lost in the mailing list.

The gimp has a navigation/overview widget embedded between the scrollbars. It also has a Navigation Dialog pretty much the same as Adobe Photoshop.
