I'm trying to draw something for my webcomic and have come across a problem. I have several images of flags and I want to just take a section of them.

For example, I would like to be able to draw a shape (a circle) on top of the flag, then remove all of the flag that sticks outside of the shape so I'm left with just a circular section of the flag. Is there any way to do this?

Clipping (Object->Clip->Set):

Duplicate the circle and use one copy to clip the flag.
