Hello,

I use Inkscape on my Linux (after several years with Sodipodi) and I used also Inscape at work on WinXP.

But now, I tried to install latest Inkscape on WinXP on my new laptop (due to problems with HW vs. Linux installation) as a partial solution, but I get "Iscape encountered an interanll error and will close now." message with "Close" button. There's no log file or whatever that could lead to the solution of a problem... I also tried to replace the binary executable for the "LATEST" available windows binary, but it doesn't work.

Any ideas?
