Hi Friends, I'm usinig the Perspective/Envelope LPE (in 0.92pre2 for about screen contest). I duplicated an object which I applied it to, and set it aside, because I wanted to test a certain edit, but not lose the original. However, when I edit the duplicate, the original is edited too, as if it were a clone. Should that be happening? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, brynn
Hi Jabier, I use Duplicate. I always use the button on the command bar (not key shortcut or menu) if it matters. Details: I used it on text that was converted to path. I used the handles to stretch the text. Then I duplicated twice (to create shadow and backlight) and those 2 duplicates are blurred. I didn't notice that those duplicates were all affected and had their own handles. Then later I grouped those 3. And it was the group that I duplicated. Besides having a clone effect at all, it's also interesting that it doesn't matter whether I edit the original or the duplicate. Whichever one I edit, the other one is edited at the same time. Windows 7, 64-bit, sp1, Inkscape 0.92pre2 (exe installer, but I don't remember if I got the 32-bit or 64-bit). Oh, but it's in Program Files (x86) which I think means it's the 32-bit version. I might be able to make a video, if you like to see?
Thanks, brynn

Hi Brynn.
I see it :), is something like feature/bug and affect duplicating a group with any LPE inside.
Could you fill a bug report please?
Cheers, Jabier.
