Hi, I have a file containing some text and one image which is embedded in the file. It all looks fine on the screen, but when I attempt to print the artwork (to a pdf file or a physical printer) the image does not appear. I have attached the Inkscape file in question. Any help would be much appreciated. I am using Inkscape 0.46 on Windows XP and Windows 2000.
Richard.

Hi Michelle,
To which consortium do you refer? Are you referring to this particular Inkscape Users' mailing list?

When I try to print your image from Inkscape, it crashes: "Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now".
I guess you need a vector file, but otherwise you could export it to PNG and then print it from another program? It's not a solution, but a workaround...

Thanks for the suggestion Maarten, that will certainly get me out of trouble.

I believe it is a Cairo problem, and fixed in the dev release. Here was the bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/179988

All the fixes in LP # 179988 should have been in the 0.46 Win32 release, so this could be a different bug.
