Funding Inkscape Development
I've been using Inkscape for many years. I also use it extensively in my small business. I'd like to fully fund development of specific features in Inkscape, but didn't see an easy way to contact developers already familiar with the code base on the Inkscape web-site.
Do you folks have any suggestions?

Hi Landon,
The advertising of programmers is a topic which is still being considered. We have people who work on Inkscape as contractors from time to time, but there is fear about what advertising programmer services on the website means for the charity project so we don't do it yet.
I'll message you off list about the services I offer myself, and I hope other people will be able to message you too about their services.

Sorry for my late reply. I'm actually more interested in funding some core development and features that would improve use of Inkscape for technical drawing and cartography. I'm in touch with Martin Owens, who might be able to help. I'll keep this list posted if things move forward. I'm optimistic about giving a little back to the Inkscape team and community.

That sounds like a great use of dev resources too! - on odd occasions it would be good for me to be able to export stuff to AutoCad eg . .
