Is there a stable version of inkscape that works with Inkscape ME, and if so Where can the download be found?

Thanks for the clarification, I had someone interested in Inkscape and using the DXF option for it, and even if we could get it running on ME, the changes for DXF would have still been missing.
He has decided to upgrade his system to an XP system and get it running under that.
