I am wondering the same thing, only I get it when printing directly from Inkscape in Linux. If I print one page, I get two.

When I print to file (PDF) the system always produces 2 pages, even if I set the print range at "1"

Is this an Inkscape problem or how Cairo handles the output?

I have tried putting a small image in the centre of the page, just in case something was spilling over, and get the same result
