Hi list,
Autopackage build from 03.12.2005 depends on libstdc++.so.6. PLD Linux is known from having fresh packages, but I have only got so.5. Manual linking so.6 ends with errors and won't let inkscape start.
[root@...1357... lib]# rpm -q libstdc++ libstdc++-3.3.6-3
[root@...1357... lib]# rpm -ql libstdc++ /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5.0.7 /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/libstdc++.mo /usr/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/libstdc++.mo
Also there is always the warning (non fatal) about libpng problems.

This problem was fixed in a later version of autopackage. To upgrade, run "package remove autopackage-gtk autopackage" as root. Then run the Inkscape package file again. The latest version (1.0.7) will be grabbed which should add a libstdc++.so.6 copy to your system.

Works. So it was autopackage problem, would never guess.
thanks, Karol
