Inkscape 0.48.2 r9819 running on Kubuntu 11.10 none of ctrl-shift-f, right-click fill&stroke, tool bar icon, (menu)object fill&stroke do anything same (lack of) behavior with align and distribute I've reinstalled Inkscape and installed inkscape-trunk.
