Inkscape for Interaction Design and Inf. Architects
I'm using Inkscape to make Wireframes for websites. Are there any Tutorials for this on the web? Any tips to create Interaction Designs etc?
I tried to make one some months ago, but would like to re-edit it:

What is it that you want to learn specifically? From your blog post it looks like you have got a handle on everything.

Just knowing how other people use it would be nice :)
Regarding Slicing and Exporting PNGs: i have one svg with 36 wireframes, is there a way to automap the export bitmap function? heathenx, I used your tutorial on slicing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAKRS2TcKmQ
so i have a layer with the 36 transparent Rectangles, but to export all as pngs, it must be 1by1?

Well, there is an "export all groups to png" but I'll be damned is I can get it to work on Windows or Linux. I have never had to deal with exporting 36 items out of a single svg document so I would have to think about it a little. I'm sure that there are several ways to do what you want but I'm drawing a blank.

Ahh. I did get it to work in ubuntu 7.10. It errors out but still works.
Try this: 1.) Group each web page template wireframe 2.) Right click on the group and change the object properties>id to "tepmlate-01", for instance. Do that to several of your wireframes (don't have to get all 36 for this test) 3.) Go to Effects>Export>Groups to PNGs 4.) Give it a path (/home/user/) 5.) Done.
See if that works for you. If it does all that you need to do is group and id each wireframe to export.

That will work in 0.45. In SVN and 0.46, there's a checkbox right in the Export dialog instead.
great, thanks! Will try it (using ubuntu 7.10 right now).
