I know it has been brought up before[1] but does anyone know if 1) it is possible to hack Inkscape 0.46 to make the vertical ruler zero at the top rather than the bottom of the page (or at least make it user selectable), or 2) whether there are plans afoot in future versions to implement this

Personally I find it one of the biggest PITA with Inkscape and very counter-intuitive for my Anglocentric brain.
