To reproduce:
1. Make multiple polygons, with different positions. 2. Select all of them. 3. Add a gradient. 4. Add a direct repeat to the gradient
The repeat only appears in one of the polygons, although the non-repeating gradient appears in all polygons. The expected behaviour would be for the gradient to repeat in all the polygons.
Sequentially deleting the gradients reveals that there is in fact a separate gradient for each polygon, although they all have identical co-ordinates.
Examples attached.

Hi hjenkins,
can you please report any bugs with Inkscape to our bug tracker?
You can find it at https://inkscape.org/report (which redirects to https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/issues/ )
If possible, it would help us tremendously if you could also try this out with the most recent development version:
https://inkscape.org/release/master/gnulinux/
Kind Regards Maren
