Re: [Inkscape-user] pixel sizes
Hi,
I'm very happy with Inkscape's features, but missing one: How can I switch view to pixel 1:1?
Why, you can use "Zoom 1:1", which displays the image in the actual pixel size. Just click on the magnifying glass, and then you have the option "1:1" in the menu bar at the top (at least up to v 0.39).

1:1 zoom is also bound to the `1' key. However this is not IIUC, necessarily 1:1 pixel interface. For example, what DPI the image is exported at and the DPI of your display.
Unfortunately not. See screenshot.

Actually this was a bug in the image import code. The size of the imported image was off by a factor of 0.8. I now fixed this in CVS, please test.
Nice, cvs works, size is the same, but image looks still different. Maybe it's due to oversampling is selected, but I CAN'T TURN IT OFF. Value 2x2 persists. Is is possible to turn on/off oversampling for import/export bitmaps?

Even if there are differences, I can't see them because of the JPEG artifacts of the screenshot itself. Can you attach a PNG?

Of course. thanx for interest. The most noticable difference is with bitmaps with text. But you can see oversample on the bass strings. And It's impossible to switch it out in prefs.
