Hi,
while working with Inkscape (0.39) over the last weeks, I realized that I am still missing a few features:
1. The possibility to repeat patterns (x times) along a circle (path).
2. The possibility to store color values somewhere.
Otherwise, Inkscape is really marvellous (the most intuitive vector program I have used so far). Keep up the good work!

I was just thinking that this would be cool 2 days ago. I was drawing a sun shaped logo and wanted to repeat the rays as clones around a circle every 15 degrees.
- The possibility to store color values somewhere.
A palette of colors would be wonderful. It would also be great to store gradients as in the GIMP.
I agree.

These are both good ideas - please add them to the Feature Request tracker on the website, if they've not already been added. If they have been added, please elaborate on them with some of your thoughts as to how they should work, etc.
Thanks, Bryce

Would be great for the snowflakes I'm trying to draw at the moment too. :-)

Art, like morality, consists of drawing the line somewhere. ~ G.K. Chesterton
I've been drawing snowflakes too recently. What I did was just draw one spoke of the snowflake, and clone the other 5. Each of the clones were rotated 30 degrees about the centre of the snowflake.
Hope that makes sense. I've attached an example.
