Hi list,
I am new on Inkscape, but I would like to know how to solve my problem to install inkscape.
I download the inkscape. The file is that:
inkscape-0.42.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
I tryed to install it with the folowing command:
[root@...1021... inkscape]# rpm -ivh inkscape-0.42.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
The error message is below:

Ps: I saw if perl was intalled with the command rpm -qa perl and the message presented was :
perl-5.8.6-15
So perl is installed here ok ?

Followup: a build of Inkscape 0.42.2 is already in official updates for FC4. Why don't you yum install it? ;)

For others users the packages needs are:
gc-6.4-3.i386.rpm gtkmm24-2.6.2-2.i386.rpm libsigc++20-2.0.11-1.i386.rpm glibmm24-2.6.1-1.i386.rpm inkscape-0.41-7.i386.rpm
Ps: Only one note:
At start up there is a message error. I would like to know what is occouring now. See attached image.
