Hi Friends,
There seems to be some drastic changes in the HSL tab of the Fill
and Stroke dialog. I've looked through the Release Notes page, but I don't
see any info. Did I just not see it?
These are my questions:
The top bar used have colors from red on the left to red on the right, and
every other color in between. And if you wanted precision, you could use
the numbers from 0 to 255 to set the color. But now, the top bar is
something else entirely. It goes from white on the left, to some 2nd color
in the middle (red) to some 3rd color on the right (aqua). But *none* of
those 3 colors are the color of the object (which I initially set from the
palette along the bottom). If I slide the bar, it doesn't change the color
I set to white, the 2nd color or the 3rd color. It sets some other odd
colors. How can I adjust the color now - especially if I don't want to use
the palette to start with?
There's now a new 5th bar at the bottom, under the Alpha bar. It goes from
white on the left, to the middle color, which is not the color of the
object, back to white on the right. Adjusting that bar seems to have no
effect on the color of the object at all. Changing the number value doesn't
do anything either. What is it for?
The bars on the HSL tab used to be labeled, like the bars are still labeled
on the RGB and CMYK tabs. If they were labeled, it might at least give me a
clue.
Thanks for your help :-)
