Dear all,
after some time in beta, heavy testing and a lot of very helpful feedback from the community, I am glad to be able to release version 1.0 of JessyInk today. I consider this to be the first feature complete and stable release and I hope you'll have fun playing with it. It is available for download either from launchpad (https:// launchpad.net/jessyink) or from GoogleCode (http://code.google.com/p/ jessyink/).
JessyInk is a JavaScript that can be integrated into an Inkscape SVG image. When loading the image in a browser, JessyInk turns every layer of the image into a slide of a presentation. Using the JessyInk extensions, different transitions, effects and auto-texts (such as slide numbers) can be assigned. Other features of JessyInk include an index sheet mode and support for a master slide.
Special thanks go to Marcel Rouweler and heathenx for their feedback and testing efforts as well as Ted Gould for integrating a patch required by JessyInk into Inkscape.
Cheers, Hannes

Congratulations, Hannes. JessyInk is a brilliant project and I cannot wait to use it for my next presentation. Great for online presentations too. :)
